Food is more than fuel for our bodies.  It is a gateway to connection with family and friends, it plays a role in our emotional well being and it tastes good! Leah takes an “all foods in moderation” approach to nutrition. This means choosing healthy foods the majority of the time, but trusting that your body will be forgiving during times of indulgence.

Leah brings a background in community and clinical nutrition.  Her experiences have provided a focus on family nutrition with working as a Pediatric Dietitian at Children's and Women's Health Center of British Columbia. She has provided nutrition counseling for hundreds of children, adolescents, and families in their efforts to eat healthy, manage weight and follow specialized diets for disease management/chronic conditions.  Leah delivers nutrition seminars to schools, community centers, sports communities and more.  She is also a freelance writer and her experience stems from writing nutrition articles for a local grocery store company, a healthy eating website and resource development for various communities.
